Who We Are CEA

Ministry of Justice-qualified OSCIP: more transparency and trust for socio-environmental projects.

The Environmental Education and Social Responsibility Center – CEA is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), founded in 2012, dedicated to promoting environmental education, sustainability, and social development in various regions of Brazil.

Since 2015, CEA has been qualified by the Ministry of Justice as an OSCIP – Civil Society Organization of Public Interest, under the terms of Law No. 9,790/1999, a recognition that attests to its public utility, transparency, and social relevance.

Throughout its trajectory, CEA has established itself as a reference in the execution of educational, socio-environmental, cultural, and social responsibility programs, impacting schools, communities, and public and private institutions.

About us

Independence Autonomy Ethics

Our Institutional Position

We, at the Environmental Education and Social Responsibility Center – CEA, clearly, publicly, and unequivocally state that since our founding in 2012, we do not receive and do not accept financial resources from governments, at any level — municipal, state, or federal — nor funds originating from parliamentary amendments.

Although receiving such resources is legally permitted, we consciously choose not to follow this path. This decision stems from the principles established by our founders—principles that remain alive, intact, and non-negotiable in our operations to this day.

"We maintain our institutional independence out of conviction. Our actions are made possible exclusively through voluntary donations from individuals and support from private sector partners."

We categorically reaffirm our commitment to autonomy, ethics, transparency, and social responsibility. Our independence is not circumstantial — it is a permanent choice and an essential part of our institutional identity.
